I made this poster in 2011 for a large exhibition called Interbike. It was a selection of artists chosen from around the world to display posters at this large bicycle convention. For this show I created Infinite, which was meant to be an abstract, artistic version of my dream bicycle.

Fall

Fall is here. Happy fall. There are so many creatures running around. I've discovered just how many woodland animals live in my new yard. Like turkeys, deer, cats, so many squirrels and really loud squawking crows.

Visual Features

I have been sorting through a lot of work lately—editing down, curating, repurposing, discovering, recreating. I'm trying to sort through who I am and what work I've done and what I'd like to present to the world. It's an overwhelming task. I have done so much work. It's hard to disregard some things you have such a strong connection to, and it's hard to show something off that you may not feel that proud of or happy about where the project ended up.

Artcrank June 4th

I am so humbly honored to be a part of another Artcrank show this year. I've been involved with Artcrank for the past six years, with this one being my ninth bike poster creation. My excitement for the show and having the opportunity to be included never dulls. It's intriguing to challenge myself every year to do something a little different and more experimental than the last. Being able to create art from my random thoughts, to produce that into something that people can take home with them, is invigorating.
