3D Mountains

New editorial illustration for Outside Online Magazine about 3D printing mountains for climbing.

Scientists are replicating rocks down to the exact shape, texture details, crystals and friction of the real rock. This is all making it possible and comparable to climbing the real route—recreating an experience that may not be accessible, too difficult or part of an off limits historical site.
