Peace Coffee

I was honored to be able to work with Peace Coffee for an upcoming poster show. This poster show, titled Local Food Poster Show, is put on by Midwest Pantry—a company here in Minneapolis who helps food entrepreneurs grow from start-up to scale-up.

The Local Food Poster Show was created to celebrate these local food businesses as well as local artists and designers. Each food business is paired up with a designer—who then work together to create a limited edition of art prints, with proceeds of these poster sales being donating to local charity.

Peace Coffee was a great company to work with on this project. Creative, wholesome, good people and of course great coffee. It was wonderful to work with them on the poster concept for the Local Food Poster Show.

The poster for Peace Coffee represents a still life moment, captured from our every day routine. The energy and attitude of the poster conveys a life of simple, calm, easy happiness—just what Peace Coffee wants you to feel when you drink their coffee or visit one of their shops. Peace Coffee should be a part of everyones day-to-day—for the times you get to sit still in your life for a moment.

The Local Food Poster Show grand opening is Sunday October 4, 2015, 1pm-4pm. The event is free and open to the public, taking place at Solar Arts building. There are 18 limited edition posters for sale, along with some samples from local producers involved in the show—as well as a cash bar and live music.
